The Company and the Sites are subject to the rules, regulations and requirements of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, Chapter 486 of the Laws of Hong Kong (“the Ordinance”). The interpretation of the terms and abbreviations used in this Privacy Policy can be found in the Terms and Conditions.

(g) to facilitate the Company and/or its affiliates to use the Personal Information of Users for purposes relating to the provision of services offered by the Company and marketing services, special events and/or promotions of the Company, its affiliates and/or their respective clients.
2.3 If the Company requires the use of the Personal Information of Users for a purpose other than those set out hereinabove, the Company may request the Users’ prior consent to the same (which includes an indication of no objection). If User is a minor, the prescribed consent should be given by their parent or guardian.
3. Collection of Personal Data
3.1 The Company may collect Personal Information of Users that are not otherwise publicly available. The Company may also collect additional personal information and/or data from a User in connection with contests, surveys, or special offers.
3.2 Only duly authorised staff of the Company will be permitted to access the Users’ personal information and data, and the Company shall not release such personal information and data to any third parties save and except for the circumstances listed out under Clause 4 below.
4. Disclosure or Transfer of Data
4.1 The Company agrees to take all reasonable and practicable steps to ensure that all Personal Information of Users are kept confidential and/or undisclosed, subject to the following.
4.2 In general, the Company will only disclose and/or transfer Personal Information of Users to the Company’s personnel and staff for the purpose of providing services to Users. However, the Company may disclose and/or transfer such Personal Information to third parties under the following circumstances:
(a) where such third parties have been duly authorised by the Company and under a duty of confidentiality to use such information and/or data and for the purpose of facilitating the provision of the Services on the Sites,;
(b) where such agents, affiliates or associates of the Company have been duly authorised by the Company to use such information and/or data;
(c) where the Company needs to protect and defend its rights and property;
(d) where the Company considers necessary or is compelled to do so in order to comply with the applicable laws and regulations, including without limitation compliance with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on the Sites; and
(e) where the Company otherwise deems it necessary in order to maintain and improve the provision of the Services on the Sites.
4.3 Personal data collected via the Sites may be transferred, stored and processed in any country in which the Company operates. By using the Sites, Users are deemed to have agreed to, consented to and authorised the Company to disclose and/or transfer their Personal Information under the circumstances aforesaid, as well as to any transfer of information (including the Personal Information) outside of the Users’ country.
5. Subscription of Newsletter/Promotional Materials/Marketing Materials
5.1 In addition to the Notifications which will be sent to Users in accordance with their Personal Information and preferences, the Company may from time to time send to members and Users of the Sites newsletters, promotional materials and marketing materials based on the Personal Information that they have provided to the Company.
5.2 The Company may use the Personal Information of Users in direct marketing and the Company shall obtain the Users’ consent (which includes an indication of no objection) before doing so. The following are classes of products and services which may be marketed, such list of which is not exhaustive:-
(a) products and services related to bakery;
(b) products and services offered by the Company’s affiliates and advertisers. Full details of such affiliates and advertisers can be found in the relevant advertisements and/or promotional or marketing materials for the relevant products and services;
(c) special events hosted by the Company for members and Users, including but not limited to courses, workshops, and competitions; and
(d) reward, loyalty or privileges programmes and related products and services.
5.3 The Company may receive money or other property in return for providing the Personal Information to such third parties contained in Clause 5.2 and, upon obtaining the User’s consent to do so, the Company shall inform the Users if the Company receives any money or other property in return for providing such Personal Information to such third parties.
5.4 The Company provides options for Users to “opt-out” of receiving the Notifications and/or such materials as provided in this Clause 5. Users may, at any time, choose to sign up or unsubscribe for such Notifications and/or materials by logging into the registration or User account maintenance webpage, or clicking on the automatic link appearing in each newsletter/message, or contact the Customer Service Representative of the Company at [ ].
6. Access
6.1 Any User is entitled to request access to or make amendments to their Personal Information kept with the Company by contacting the Customer Service Representative of the Company at [ ].
6.2 In the event that a User wishes to access or amend their Personal Information, the Company reserves the right to request the User to provide personal details in order to verify and confirm their identity. HKID card number or passport number or business registration certificate number cannot be amended unless such data is proved to be inaccurate. The Company shall endeavour to respond to a User’s requests within 30 days of the User’s request.
7. Cookies and Log Files
7.1 The Company does not collect any personally identifiable information from any Users whilst they visit and browse the Sites, save and except where such information of the Users are expressly requested. When Users access the Sites, the Company records their visits only and do not collect their Personal Information. The server software operated by the Sites will also record the domain name server address and track the pages the Users visit and store such information in “cookies”, and gather and store information like internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data in log files. All these are done without the Users being aware that they are occurring.
7.2 The Company does not link the information and data automatically collected in the above manner to any personally identifiable information. The Company generally uses such automatically collected information and data to estimate the audience size of the Sites, gauge the popularity of various parts of the Sites, track Users’ movements and number of entries in the Company’s promotional activities and special events, measure Users’ traffic patterns and administer the Sites. Such automatically collected information and data will not be disclosed save and except in accordance with the Clause 4 above.
8. Links to Third Party websites
8.1 The Sites may provide links to other websites which are not owned or controlled by the Company. The Personal Information of Users may be collected on these other websites when Users visit or make use of the services provided in such websites. Where and when Users decide to click on any advertisement or hyperlink on the Sites which grants Users access to another website, the protection of the Personal Information of Users which are deemed to be private and confidential may be exposed in these other websites.
8.2 Non-registered Users who gain access to the Sites via their accounts in online social networking tools, such as Facebook, are deemed to have consented to the terms of this Privacy Policy, and Personal Information of such Users which have been provided to those networking tools may be obtained by the Company and be used by the Company and its authorized persons in and outside of the User’s country for the purpose of providing services and marketing materials to the Users. These Users are deemed to have consented to the Company and its authorised personnel’s access and use of the Personal Information so obtained.
8.3 This Privacy Policy is only applicable to the Sites. Users are reminded that this Privacy Policy grants no protection to Personal Information of Users which may be exposed on websites other than the Sites, and the Company is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other websites. 9.1 The security of Personal Information of Users is important to the Company. The Company will always strive to ensure that Personal Information of Users will be protected against unauthorised access. The Company has implemented appropriate electronic and managerial measures in order to safeguard, protect and secure the Personal Information of Users.
9.2 Personal Information of Users are only accessible by the authorised personnel of the Company or its authorised third parties as provided in this Privacy Policy, and such personnel shall be instructed to observe the terms of this Privacy Policy when accessing the Personal Information. The Company will only keep the Personal Information of Users for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it is collected.
